This week’s Magazine is a recap of Mineral County Days from four major participants: MC Day committee chair, Patsy Koontz; County Commissioner, Dr. Richard Lechliter; Chamber of Commerce President, Randy Crane; and Convention & Visitors Bureau Executive Director, Ashley Centofonti.
Nearly 50 Mineral Countians traveled to the state Capitol in Charleston for Mineral County Days, January 8, 9 & 10. Members of the delegation set up and staffed displays in the Capitol hallway; hosted two public events–a reception and a luncheon; and met with legislators and other state officials to discuss a variety of issues and concerns to the people of Mineral County. Our four guests recap the event from various perspectives, but all agree that it was worthwhile and a great success.
